Happy Birthday Dad,
I have been thinking about memories/thoughts about dad. I have had a hard time narrowing it down. I think in General what I appreciate the most about dad is that he truly is a hard worker in all aspects of his life. I know how hard he worked his job to support his family and the sacrifices he had to make in getting up early and having long days. And the moving around trying to find better opportunities to make sure we were taken care of. But also know that dad works hard spiritually. He and you tried your best to do scriptures and FHE. He worked hard at his numerous callings over the years. I know I wasn't always in tune to each and every calling he ever had growing up, but I know he kept himself worthy to be called into bishoprics and as a bishop and various other leadership positions where he not only influenced the lives of his family but many others. I know my memories of Dad and the "fun stuff" stem more from our early years, camping, fishing, etc. But I appreciate that he tried his best to balance it all and give us vacations, and participate in fun activities as much as possible. Honestly I don't know how he did it all as I can't imagine having some of the callings he held and still support a family and find the time to have quality time as well. So in all I appreciate him for everything he did and still does to set an example of working hard.
Love, SeanHappy Birthday Dear Dad,
So over the last many times over 15 years whenever we have come for a visit or vice versa; when it has been time to leave Dad has always attempted to apologize for some reason that he was somehow not a good father, or was not there for some specific thing. Well he should know he is my Captain Moroni. He is the one who when I have been in my lowest point, greatest anxieties or darkest times, that I have sought the power of the priesthood in a father's blessing. This has comforted my soul countless times and kept me on an upward path. Nothing could replace this ever! It It has made me strive harder to make those type of connections with my own children. It has been a big circle as Justice and my older children have asked for blessings as of late in their time of need. I also attribute most of my fishing skills to Dad, from the many trips to Paradise Lake and Orville Dam in California,
Happy Birthday Dad, I love you!
Happy Birthday to my Dad,
In short, words that describe my dad include real-time, sound, wise, practical advice. Patience. Love. Example. From Pinewood Derby cars to my Eagle Scout project, from staying up late to help with (aka build) my 6th grade science project to my senior English paper, and everything in between, I never felt rushed and always felt a guiding hand, and a sense that gaining knowledge and experience was more important than just checking a box. If you were in town, you were at every game and concert. And I'm forever grateful for the talks, advice, and coaching that has come before and after any event in my life, whether big or small. Multiply that by at least 6 and that's my dad, because even though I felt like the most important kid in the world during those moments, there were 5 others to be provided for, prayed for, coached, etc... More moments like these, too many to account for here, have continued into my missionary, college, family, and career years, and so the impact of those moments continues on daily, and is now expanding to influence other generations. Thanks dad for always giving of yourself to create and be in the moments that matter most!
Love, James
Dearest Dad,
Just want you to know how much we love you. We always feel your love and support. I am grateful to have a good father who has always been there for me, and who is always willing to listen to me and give me advice when I need it. I love how you helped make our birthdays special. The simple things you did always mattered most..I also loved the time you and mom made us hamburgers for breakfast. I have many fond memories of camping trips, family vacations, holiday times and such, but there are two very important times I remember most when I needed your advice. The first time was when I was struggling to love myself because of suffering from adult acne at college. Your advice was calming and comforting and helped me to realize the most important thing was to not focus on the physical appearance and that helped me to know that I was truly loved for being me and not what I looked like on the outside. The second time was before I got married, and I know I wasn't aware of all the challenges I would face but I did feel that you and mom had already shown me a beautiful example of what a celestial marriage should be like here on earth. I was very aware of that and really hopeful to do my best to help my new family follow Christ and always have Him at the center of our family relationships. Thank you for your amazing example as a father and Patriarch of our family. I love you always Daddy and I hope that you have a most wonderful birthday this year! Thank you for all you do for me, my siblings, our spouses and our children.
Happy Birthday and Love always, your Chrissy-bug
Wishing you a very happy birthday, Dad!
Oh how we wish we could be near you to celebrate your day with you. I am so grateful for you and feel very blessed to call you Dad. You have always been someone that I look up to and I have always known that I can count on you no matter what. I remember many times, while growing up and as an adult, receiving priesthood blessings from your hands and wise counsel whenever it was needed. You have been on my side and have helped me more times than I can count. I am truly grateful for your example, wisdom, thoughtfulness and testimony of the gospel. You are a wonderful example to Michael and I know that he appreciates your counsel as much as I do and he respects you so much and wishes to emulate you more. He is grateful to have your guidance and love especially since his own father is gone. Our children are so blessed to have you in their lives. They may not always express it, but they love you dearly. Alyssa still remembers a blessing you gave her when she was 5 and you were visiting us in South Dakota and how it made her feel better. She also loves going to the movies with you and Grandma. Emma remembers how you gave her one of your stuffed animals, a moose, that she named Moose. Whenever she plays with it, she thinks of you. Ben remembers how you came to visit us before your mission and you sat at the table and helped him with his Kindergarten homework. He loves to visit your home and will always remember that you found his beloved toy Slush. Dad, you are dear to us and we love you so very much. Happy Birthday! Love- Jenni, Michael, Alyssa, Emma & Ben.
Happy Birthday Dad!
I am so grateful to have you as my father. Now more than ever, I recognize the importance of honoring you and mom. You both have given so much to me through the years, whether it was counsel, prayers, gospel teaching, or financial help you have done what you could to help when help was needed and not just for me, but many others. I am eternally grateful and feel exceedingly blessed, despite my current life challenges. You have taught me so much about myself and of God and Christ's love for me. I know I am a daughter of God, because you have treated me as such. You've taught about how sacred my body is and how important modesty, chastity, and fidelity are. Dad, thank you for honoring your priesthood power and for exercising that power selflessly. Thank you for respecting womanhood and setting an example to me of what a righteous husband and father is like. Thank you for never being ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for always bearing your testimony, and being worthy to bless your posterity. Thank you for serving so faithfully with mom! For being a Christ-like example to your grandchildren and great grandchildren. The fondest memories I have are of Grandma and Grandpa Williams sharing their testimonies and mission stories with us grand kids. I may not remember all their words, but I will always remember how I felt. I feel the same way at family reunions now. When you and mom testify of the gospel of Jesus Christ and share stories of your mission, the Spirit is undeniably strong. Thank for teaching me how to recognize the spirit, the importance of studying the scriptures, praying, and attending the temple. Dad, I can't thank you enough. I love you so much!! I hope you have wonderful birthday! Love, Tiffani

Happy Birthday Dad!
I couldn't ask for a better role model as a father-in-law. You have always shown me kindness, even when I wrecked your car before Chrissy and I were married! I'll never forget that example. You are great example of a father, husband, and priesthood holder. I know that even now in the absence of my father, I have no loss of the fatherly advice and role for me in my life. I may not be very talkative, but I have plenty of observations and I've always believed actions speak louder than words. That's why you are such a great example. Best Wishes on your special day and throughout the whole year! We love and miss you much! Brandon
