OUR FAMILY REUNION AUGUST 2010!

We had an awesome Family Reunion on August 7 through the 10th. On Friday the 6th; Dave and Tiffani arrived. On Saturday the 7th the other families slowly came by evening we were together and had dinner.  Sunday the 8th we attended Sacrament meeting and then came home. There was a total of 40 there. It was a wonderful Sacrament meeting and we were taught well. In the afternoon Dad and I distributed dark blue tee shirts to everyone and Sean took family pictures. We had a lunch and then the children played outside on the play set, basketball and a game of football. All 45 of our posterity were there. In the evening we had a devotional around the theme of the Title of Liberty in the Book of Mormon. We viewed a video of Moroni's flag made out of his cloak signifying that they would fight for their Liberty, Freedom, Peace, Faith, God, and Families. We gave each of the families a Title of Liberty Flag.

Averi's 8th Birthday - Opening her gifts

The family was so happy to be able to celebrate Averi's 8th Birthday. We all love her so much and she enriches our life with her cute personality and her gift and love of music. Grandpa and Grandma are so thrilled to be with Averi whenever we can. She is such a blessing in our lives.
Happy Graduation celebration for Tiffani's graduation from BYU

LAKE AND PARK FAMILY ADVENTURE ON MONDAY 9TH

On Monday the 9th we went up to Deer Lake and spent the day swimming canoeing and swinging on a rope and landing in the lake. Even Alyssa went on the rope. The weather was windy and the water a little rough. At one point Dave with a life jacket and Jed without one swam across the lake from the shore where they were swinging from the rope. I prayed on that one.
We later went down to a park in Midway for dinner and everyone enjoyed playing on the park playset, playing kick ball and soccer. It was a fun family event.
